WaterSums 1.1: Still delayed, but more functionality

As we are still sorting out code-signing certificates, there will probably be one more Beta release of WaterSums 1.1 including various bug fixes and some new functionality that makes the analysis results easier to work with.

In the latest development build of WaterSums, the following new features are being tested:

  • 64-bit analysis when running on 64-bit operating systems - a separate build is required for this
  • multiple maps now display correctly at startup
  • new options to add a pipe, pump or valve are now available in the context menu when right-clicking on a node in the Project tree
  • tank levels are now set in the map when they are added or edited
  • pump centre section now rotates when the pump is running during a simulation
  • simulation clock now shows what proportion of simulation is complete with a progress monitor in the background. The background of the map also "flashes" yellow when the simulation restarts.
  • A new toolbar allowing control of the simulation has been added - and shortcut keys also. Play/pause, go to start and single step forward and backward are provided, as well as playback speed control also
